Kevin Ryan based in New York, co-heads the Financial Institutions Team within Global Capital Markets. Globally, it is a 70-person team, which focuses on equity and debt financing, risk management and balance sheet optimization. In recent years, Kevin was one of 6 managing directors that assisted the US Treasury in the Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac restructuring, and assisted the Federal Reserve Bank of New York as well as the US Treasury in the emergency provision of the secured financing facility to American International Group, Inc. Kevin led the capital markets team that worked with the other large banks and the FDIC to put the TLGP program in place and worked on the Mitsubishi UFJ investment in Morgan Stanley during the fall of 2008. Recent transactions include a large debt for equity exchange and a substantial structured asset portfolio sale for State Street
Kevin received a bachelor's degree with highest honors from Rutgers University and a law degree from the University of Virginia where he was published in the Virginia Tax Review
