Kathryn M. Trkla is a partner with Foley & Lardner LLP. She is a member of Foley's Securities, Commodities & Exchange Regulation Practice within the Securities Litigation Practice, and the firm's Business Law Department and the Energy Industry Team. Prior to joining the firm in 2000, she was Senior Vice President & Associate General Counsel at the Chicago Board of Trade. Ms. Trkla has over 25 years experience with the futures and securities industries, including work for commercial hedgers, institutional investors, brokerage firms, hedging service providers, professional trading firms, exchanges (domestic and non-US), clearing houses and other clients.
Ms. Trkla received a J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law and her B.A. from the University of Chicago.
