Kathleen Philips is the General Counsel for Zillow. In her role, she is responsible for all company legal matters as well as mergers and acquisitions, human resources and customer support. Before joining Zillow, Kathleen served as General Counsel for FanSnap, a search engine for live event tickets. Kathleen also has served as General Counsel for Pure Digital Technologies (the maker of the Flip Video camcorder), StubHub and Hotwire. Kathleen began her legal career in private practice at Cooley Godward and Stoel Rives. Kathleen earned a bachelor's degree with distinction in political science from the University of California, Berkeley, and a juris doctor degree with Honors from the University of Chicago.
