Joseph Alonso is a Senior Manager in Ernst & Young's Fraud Investigation & Dispute Services (FIDS) group. Joseph has over 10 years of experience in providing assistance in lost profits/economic damages, complex contract disputes, forensic accounting investigations and business interruption insurance claims in a variety of industries.

Joseph has provided a wide range of dispute resolution and forensic accounting services, including assessing the validity and entitlement of reimbursement costs submitted under a joint venture agreement, assessing FCPA compliance, and assisting in internal investigations. He specializes in the energy, chemicals and utilities industries, providing services to both domestic and global clients.

Relevant engagements have included assisting in an internal investigation of improper accounting at a multinational tire manufacturer, conducting multiple FCPA compliance program audits and leading a team in performing material cost calculations used during litigation proceedings with the IRS.

Prior to joining Ernst & Young, Joseph has had experience in the production of steel pipe for the transportation of oil and gas in the energy industry.

Joseph earned a B.B.A. in Finance from The College of William and Mary. He is a Certified Fraud Examiner.
