Jodi J. Schwartz is a partner at the law firm of Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz where she specializes in the tax aspects of the corporate transactions and mergers and acquisitions that are the firm's primary practice. She is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Law School where she served as an editor of the Law Review and has an LL.M in Taxation from New York University, and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School. Ms. Schwartz is an Executive Committee member of the New York State Bar Association Tax Section where she was the immediate past Chair. She is a frequent lecturer and writer on federal income tax issues.
