Jeffrey A. Miller is a partner in Dickstein Shapiro's Intellectual Property Practice who handles all aspects of patent litigation, strategic patent counseling, licensing, and both foreign and domestic patent prosecution. Mr. Miller has extensive experience in many different technological areas, including integrated circuit design, packaging and fabrication, biometrics, wireless, electronic design automation (e.g., emulation, simulation, place and route, and synthesis), image processing, Internet, electronics assembly (e.g., pick and place machines), optical display systems (LCOS and screen technology), networking, and power tools. Mr. Miller has negotiated hundreds of millions of dollars in strategic transactions including the licensing and acquisition of worldwide patent portfolios. In addition, he conducts intellectual property due diligence studies to assist venture capital firms and other parties when making investment decisions.

Mr. Miller is admitted to practice in California and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. In addition, he is admitted before the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Federal and Ninth Circuits, and the U.S. District Courts for the Central and Northern Districts of California. He is also a member of the State Bar of California.
EDUCATION
Mr. Miller earned his J.D., cum laude, from Boston University School of Law (1992) and graduated with a B.S., Eta Kappa Nu, in electrical engineering from Union College (1987).
