Jefferson VanderWolk is a lawyer who has been engaged in international tax practice and scholarship since 1985. He has been a partner at Baker & McKenzie and Deloitte in both London and Hong Kong, a corporate tax director at Merrill Lynch, a Special Counsel at the IRS Office of Chief Counsel, and a law professor in Hong Kong, London, and Washington DC. Since 2011 he has served as International Tax Counsel to the U.S. Senate Committee on Finance. He has published extensively on tax law subjects and participates in numerous professional organizations. He became a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation in 2004 and serves on the Academic Committee for the CIOT's Advanced Diploma in International Taxation.
