Jason Anthony is Special Counsel to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission Division of Enforcement's Structured and New Products Unit. Mr. Anthony specializes in cases involving complex financial products and matters related to the financial crisis. Mr. Anthony also participates in Dodd-Frank rulemakings related to asset-backed securities and securities-based swaps. Mr. Anthony formerly served as Branch Chief in the Division of Enforcement and Special Assistant United States Attorney in the Southern District of New York. Prior to joining the Commission in 2006, Mr. Anthony was an associate at Gibson Dunn & Crutcher LLP's Washington, D.C., office. Mr. Anthony is a 2000 graduate of Georgetown University Law Center.
