Jarett Decker joined the PCAOB in August 2006 as Deputy Director, Chief Trial Counsel, in the Division of Enforcement and Investigations. Prior to his work at the PCAOB, he served in the Chicago office of the Securities and Exchange Commission as Senior Trial Counsel in the Division of Enforcement. Here, he prosecuted auditing, financial fraud, and market manipulation cases. Mr. Decker has 14 years prior experience in private law practice, specializing in securities litigation and white-collar criminal defense. He earned a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School and a B.A. from the College of William & Mary. He is an attorney and a certified public accountant licensed in Illinois and Virginia
