Holly McClellan is the Transfer Pricing Leader, Tax Counsel, for GE's Treasury function. In that role, she leads a team, which is responsible for setting and defending the pricing of all intercompany financial transactions at GE, including intercompany financing, guarantee fees, and preferred stock valuations. Prior to joining GE in 2010, Ms. McClellan was a principal of Baker & McKenzie, LLP, where she focused her practice on international tax planning and transfer pricing matters. While at Baker & McKenzie, Ms. McClellan advised and represented multinational clients before the IRS, the US Treasury Department and other tax administrators, in matters of planning as well as controversy, with particular emphasis on competent authority and APA matters. Prior to joining Baker & McKenzie, Ms. McClellan was Attorney Adviser to the Honorable Carolyn P. Chiechi, of the U.S. Tax Court. Ms. McClellan earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from Syracuse University College of Law, where she was a member of Order of the Coif and Editor-in-Chief of the Syracuse Law Review; and she received her LL.M in Taxation, with distinction, from Georgetown University Law Center.
