Harold B. Dichter is a Senior Vice President, Associate General Counsel and Assistant Secretary of ARAMARK Corporation. Since May 2003 Mr. Dichter has served as the head corporate lawyer for the $13 billion managed services company and since May 2009 Mr. Dichter has served as the coordinator of the 49 lawyer Legal Department responsible for coordinating the work of the department. Mr. Dichter is in charge of all securities related matters; mergers and acquisitions; financing related matters and all aspects of corporate governance and the operation of the Board of Directors and its committees.
Prior to ARAMARK, Mr. Dichter was an associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett in New York and Tokyo. While at Simpson Thacher he was engaged in a broad mergers and acquisitions and capital markets practice.
Mr. Dichter is on the Board of the Central Philadelphia Development Corporation.
Mr. Dichter received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Harvard Law School in 1994 and his B.A., summa cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania in 1990.
Mr. Dichter is admitted to practice in New York and Pennsylvania.
