George A. Hanson

George Hanson is a partner in the law firm Stueve Siegel Hanson LLP and works out of the firm's office in Kansas City Missouri. Mr. Hanson was formerly a partner with Blackwell Sanders - one of Kansas City's leading defense firms. Mr. Hanson's current practice focuses on protecting workers' rights through the prosecution of large scale wage and hour class and collective actions. Mr. Hanson has been the lead attorney in more than 70 wage and hour actions filed in federal and state courts across the country. In March 2011 Mr. Hanson was the lead trial attorney for Plaintiffs and won a verdict against Tyson Foods in a donning and doffing class action tried to a jury in the District of Kansas. Mr. Hanson is a regular contributing author and speaker on wage and hour matters, and a frequent guest lecturer on the Fair Labor Standards Act at the University of Kansas and Washington Schools of Law. Mr. Hanson is a graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School and Oberlin College.
