Francisco Antunes Maciel Müssnich

Based both in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, Francisco Müssnich's main areas of practice are corporate and securities law, principally mergers, acquisitions and hostile takeovers, and arbitration and strategic advice on dispute resolution.
He is Professor of Corporate Law at the Pontífica Universidade Católica - PUC/RJ (since 1981) and at Fundação Getúlio Vargas law school, and is Visiting Professor for Cross-Border M&A at Vanderbilt Law School (since 2010) and UCLA (since 2013)
He serves as a member of the board of the Brazilian Symphonic Orchestra - OSB and of WWF Brasil, and is an arbitrator of the Court of Arbitration for Sports - CAS.
He holds an LL.M. from Harvard Law School (1979) and a bachelor of law degree from PUC/RJ (1976), and is the author of Cartas a Um Jovem Advogado (Letters to a Young Lawyer).
