Enrique Gonzalez III currently serves as Special Counsel for Immigration to Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL).  Mr. Gonzalez has served as one of the principal advisors to Senator Rubio and the Republicans in the "Gang of Eight" during the discussions/negotiations in Congress related to comprehensive immigration reform (SB 744).  Prior to joining Senator Rubio's staff, Mr. Gonzalez served as the Managing Partner of the Florida office of Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy, LLP, the largest law firm in the world dedicated exclusively to immigration, nationality and consular law. Mr. Gonzalez practiced with Fragomen from 1996 to 2012 representing colleges and universities, cruise lines, entertainment companies, food service companies, luxury hotels and resorts, research institutions and utility companies. Mr. Gonzalez received his B.A. from Tulane University in 1988 and his J.D. from the Cornell University School of Law in 1991. Mr. Gonzalez has lectured nationally, regionally and locally on immigration matters to groups such as the American Immigration Lawyer's Association (AILA), American Council for International Personnel (ACIP), National Association of Foreign Student Advisors (NAFSA) and National Association of College and University Attorneys (NACUA).
