Ellen P. Rosenzweig, J.D. is Director of the Samuel Sadin Institute on Law of the Brookdale Center on Aging. She specializes in Medicaid and home care issues, is a former member of the Board of Directors of the Home Care Association of New York State, and is former Chair of the Consumer Education Committee and Co-Chair of the Government Benefits Subcommittee of the Elder Law Section of the New York State Bar Association. In addition, Ms. Rosenzweig is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and of the Committee on Legal Problems of the Aging of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York. After graduation from Brooklyn Law School in 1977, she practiced law in the field of trusts and estates before joining the Institute as a staff attorney in 1987.
