Elizabeth G. Osterman is an Associate Director (Exemptive Applications) in the Division of Investment Management of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Ms. Osterman previously held a number of positions in the SEC's Division of Investment Management, including: Assistant Chief Counsel; Assistant Director, Office of Enforcement Liaison; and Assistant Director, Office of Investment Company Regulation. Before joining the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Ms. Osterman was an associate in a corporate law practice in Baltimore, Maryland.
Ms. Osterman received her J.D. degree, cum laude, from the University of Baltimore School of Law and her B.A. degree from Swarthmore College. She is a member of the Maryland Bar Association.
