Elizabeth Rotenberg-Schwartz has wide-ranging experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in complex commercial litigation, including pretrial, trial and appellate work.  Ms. Rotenberg-Schwartz has represented clients in both federal and state courts and arbitral forums in a variety of general commercial and financial disputes including claims of fraud, breach of contract, and interference with contract.  Ms. Rotenberg-Schwartz has also represented individual clients in dealings with the SEC and state regulators, in executive employment disputes, and on a pro bono basis, in extradition proceedings.

Ms. Rotenberg-Schwartz is admitted in New York and New Jersey state courts and the U.S. Districts Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and the District of New Jersey.

Ms. Rotenberg-Schwartz is a member of the American Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, and an associate member of the Maritime Association of the Untied States.  She served as a member of the Committee on Professional and Judicial Ethics of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York from 2008-2011.

Ms. Rotenberg-Schwartz received her B.A., cum laude, from Barnard College in 1997. She received her J.D., from the Cardozo School of Law in 2003.
