Elizabeth Abbene Coleman is a partner in Jenner & Block’s Chicago office and is a member of the Firm’s Litigation Department. Ms. Coleman focuses her practice on complex civil litigation in a wide range of commercial settings in jurisdictions throughout the United States. Ms. Coleman has significant experience handling complex business disputes, including trade secrets and commercial contract disputes as well as defending consumer class actions, product liability and mass tort claims, and toxic exposure and environmental claims. She has extensive experience in pre-litigation investigation, all phases of discovery, motion practice, as well as pre-trial, trial experience, and appellate work. Ms. Coleman has handled competitive bidding disputes on behalf of the City of Chicago, the Chicago Board of Education, and on behalf of corporate clients. Ms. Coleman also has significant experience litigating matters involving the Federal Trade Commission. Ms. Coleman graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1990, and graduated, cum laude, from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 1996, where she was a member of the Loyola University Chicago Law Journal.
