Douglas A. Miro litigates patent, trademark, unfair competition and trade secret cases in district and appellate courts
throughout the country. Mr. Miro is involved in patent litigation and patent prosecution in a wide variety of arts, including
mechanical, electrical, ceramics, steel making, refractories, medical devices, and Internet related technologies. He counsels
businesses and hospitals on a broad range of intellectual property issues, including establishing intellectual property
programs, and on licensing and technology transfer matters. Mr. Miro also works in other intellectual property fields including
copyrights, deceptive trade practices, and in all phases of intellectual property litigation.
