Diane Costanzo sits as a Referee in the New York County Family Court and presides over custody, visitation, paternity and family offense proceedings. Referee Costanzo's prior Family Court experience includes the position of Executive Assistant to Administrative Judge Joseph M. Lauria and Court Attorney to the Honorable Jody Adams. Before her assignment to the Family Court in 2001, Referee Costanzo held the position of Court Attorney in both the Kings County Criminal and in Richmond County Supreme Court Matrimonial Term. Prior to commencing her career with the Unified Court System fifteen years ago, Referee Costanzo also practiced as a litigator in civil and criminal proceedings in New York City. She is a graduate of The Catholic University, Columbus School of Law and was admitted to the bar in 1988.
