Debra Sacks is a senior staff attorney at the Sadin Institute on Law & Public Policy of the Brookdale Center for Healthy Aging and Longevity. She has lectured extensively and is involved in legislative reform in the areas of Medicare, guardianship and adult protective services. Debra is the director of the Jacob Reingold Institute’s Elderly Financial Management Project, which is studying financial abuse of elderly persons. She has previously worked as an associate attorney for three years with a New York City firm specializing in the legal problems of aging. She also has a Certificate in Aging Studies and has worked as a geriatric nurse.
