Debbie Lofton is Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary for Qlik Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ: QLIK). Qlik, which went public in July 2010, sells a software platform, QlikView, an easy-to-use business intelligence solution. Debbie is responsible for providing legal support to the business on operational issues and developing and implementing business processes to achieve business goals and mitigate risk. She also handles SEC reporting and corporate governance compliance programs, joint venture and M&A transactions, intellectual property activities and manage internal and external legal resources.
Debbie has extensive experience in equity offerings, mergers & acquisitions, corporate governance, board of director coordination and communication, corporate compliance, SEC reporting and disclosure obligations, labor and employment, and litigation management. Prior to joining Qliktech, Debbie was Counsel at McCausland Keen & Buckman where she provided legal services to public and private clients in the areas of securities, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, business counseling, and general corporate law. Prior to McCausland Keen & Buckman Debbie was the SVP, General Counsel and Secretary for InfraSource Services, Inc. where should was responsible for all legal activities involving the company, including corporate governance and compliance, SEC reporting, litigation management, acquisitions and divestitures, labor and employment, and general commercial. She has also served as SVP and General Counsel for SunGard Availability Services, EVP and General Counsel of RMH Teleservices Inc. and VP-Legal and Assistant General Counsel for SunGard Data Systems.
Debbie holds a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and a B.A. from the University of Virginia. She is a member in good standing of the Pennsylvania and District of Columbia Bar Associations.
