Work History:
David is a partner at Choate and oversees the Technology Transfer and Licensing Group for the firm. Prior to Choate, David was an associate in the Intellectual Property Group at Testa, Hurwitz in Boston, MA, and in the Venture Capital and Emerging Company Group of Edwards and Angell in Providence, RI. Before making the move into law firm life, David negotiated commercial outsourcing agreements for Computer Sciences Corporation in Norwich, CT, and oversaw the government contracting function for PSI International, Inc. in Fairfax, VA.
Professional Memberships:
David is the former co-chair of the Boston Bar Association's Computer & Internet Law Committee and he served on "Committee D" in the drafting of the GPL v.3. David is on the Advisory Council for the Cornell University Entrepreneurship Program.
David is a member of the Rhode Island Bar Association, the Connecticut Bar Association and the Science and Technology Law Section of the American Bar Association.
