David Rosedahl is Of Counsel, Briggs and Morgan PA, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

A member of the firm's Business Litigation Section and Financial Markets Group, Rosedahl has more than 30 years of experience in the securities industry. Prior to joining Briggs and Morgan, Rosedahl served as Chief Regulatory Officer of the Pacific Exchange(PCX); General Counsel of Piper Jaffray Companies for 19 years, and Associate General Counsel/Secretary of the Securities Industry Association (now SIFMA). Focusing on regulatory compliance and enforcement, financial markets counseling, corporate governance and dispute resolution, he has served as a consultant to the securities market regulators of Colombia, the Philippines and India.  He serves on several industry related committees including the Minnesota Securities Law Advisory Committee, the ABA Committee of State Securities Law Liaisons and the NASDAQ OMX Options Trade Review Committee. He has written numerous articles on securities regulation issues and is currently teaching Securities Regulation as an adjunct professor for William Mitchell College of Law. Rosedahl received his B.A. and J.D. degrees from Columbia University.
