Darlene Jorif-Mangane, Esq., joined CFR as a Litigation Supervisor in August of 2008. Ms. Jorif-Mangane is a 1993 graduate of New York University School of Law. From 1993 to 1996 she was a staff attorney at the Legal Aid Society Juvenile Rights Division. Upon leaving the Legal Aid Society, Ms. Jorif-Mangane served as a Project Director at the Vera Institute of Justice and the Correctional Association of New York. She then returned to the Legal Aid Society Juvenile Rights Division as an Assistant Attorney-In-Charge providing leadership and supervision to the Delinquency Team. Ms. Jorif-Mangane next served as Director of Operations at the Bridges Juvenile Detention Center. Prior to joining CFR, Ms. Jorif-Mangane worked as a supervising attorney for the Civil Unit of the Neighborhood Defender Service of Harlem where she represented clients in civil cases collateral to criminal cases. Ms. Jorif-Mangane received her B.A. from SUNY at Stony Brook with a focus in Child and Family and Socio-legal studies.
