Darcy Lopes is a partner in Ernst & Young's Northern California Life Science practice and has over twenty years of experience serving private and publicly held technology companies, ranging from fast growing pre-IPO entities to large multi-national companies.
Darcy's industry experience spans a range of technology sectors, including enterprise software, retail software, internet, SaaS and biotechnology companies. Darcy has extensive experience coordinating the delivery of core assurance. In addition to her coordinating partner roles, Darcy serves as the engagement quality review partner for many clients. Darcy has extensive experience in SEC accounting and disclosure requirements, revenue recognition, stock compensation issues, business combinations and public offerings.
Darcy is an active supporter of the firm's inclusiveness and campus recruiting efforts. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of CPA's. She joined the San Francisco office of Ernst & Young after graduating from California State University, Hayward with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration, and has spent her entire career with the firm in the San Francisco Bay Area.
