Cynthia Jared is a member of the Real Estate Group and Financial Industry Group, practicing in the area of Financial Services. She serves as the Deputy of Real Estate for the Chicago Real Estate Team of Reed Smith. Cynthia has an exciting practice that spans all aspects of real estate and finance. She represents large financial institutions in making construction loans nationally, small community banks in investing in local businesses and institutional lenders in making commercial loans to significant operating companies. She represents developers and owners of properties nationally in the sale, acquisition, and development of all types of properties, using a variety of financing strategies, including private equity, bank financing, conduit financing, bond financing, TIF financing, and 1031 exchanges.
With lawyers from coast-to-coast in the United States, as well as in Europe, Asia and the Middle East, Reed Smith is known for its experience across a broad array of industry sectors. Reed Smith counsels 13 of the world's 15 largest commercial and savings banks; 8 of the world's 15 largest oil and gas companies; and the world's three largest pharmaceutical distribution and wholesale companies.

This means that we are well positioned to handle major real estate projects on a global scale.
