Clinton H. Hallman is the Chief Patent Counsel for Kraft Foods Group, Inc., which is the north American grocery company created out of the split of Kraft Foods Inc. into two companies in October 2012. He has responsibility for patent matters for Kraft to include iconic brands such as Philadelphia brand cream cheese, Oscar Mayer meat products and Maxwell House Coffee. His past experience includes both private practice as well as in-house positions at Mobil Oil Corporation and the Altria Group. His background includes managing patent prosecution, opinion work, complex technology transactions and litigation. Mr. Hallman is a 1977 graduate of the US Naval Academy with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is a 1994 graduate of the George Mason University School of Law. He is a Board Member of the Greater Chicago Food Depository since 2010. He is a Board Member of the Public Patent Advisory Committee since 2012. He is married and has two sons, one of whom works in the culinary industry.
