Christopher M. Koa is Senior Legal Counsel at Dell Inc. with lead global responsibility for five of the company's IT Services Delivery divisions (Cloud Services/Software-as-a-Service, Global Infrastructure Consulting Services / IT Consulting, Global Services Delivery/IT Outsourcing, Global Producer Responsibility/ Regulatory Compliance and high risk IT services); development and delivery of data center services (including engineering design and construction services and modular data centers); advising Dell's Chief Information Officer on Services matters; and Merger & Acquisition Integration and other strategic initiatives.
Chris also currently serves in the following leadership roles: National Co-Chair of the Cloud Computing Subcommittee of the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) National IT, Privacy & eCommerce Committee; Board member and Vice President of the ACC Austin Chapter; and Board member of the Austin Asian American Bar Association.
Chris previously acquired corporate, securities, mergers & acquisitions, transactional, licensing and business litigation experience through law firm and in-house positions including at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati; Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison; and Microsoft Corporation. He has also acquired business-side experience as a technology investment banker at WR Hambrecht on the West Coast and in business development. Chris served as Law Clerk to United States District Court Judge Edward J. Schwartz (Southern District of California) immediately after earning a J.D. from New York University School of Law (where he was Senior Editor of the Journal of International Law & Politics), M.P.A. from the Princeton University Woodrow Wilson School of Public & International Affairs (where he was a Sloan Fellow) and B.A. in English Literature from Carleton College.
