Cheryl R. David handles all aspects of immigration law with an emphasis on removal and family-based cases. She was an elected director of AILA's Board of Governors from June 2007 through May 2013. Previously, she served as the national Chair of the Executive Office for Immigration Review on behalf of AILA from 2009-12. She chaired AILA's national ICE liaison committee from 2007-10 and served as Chair of the New York chapter of AILA from 2006-07. She currently serves as a member of the ICE national liaison committee for AILA. In addition, she was locally the chair of the ICE detention and removal committee from the 2007-10 and oversaw the EOIR/AILA juvenile pro-bono docket. Ms. David is on the Board of Directors of the City Bar Fund and member of "Katzman study group". She is a frequent lecturer on removal and family-based immigration issues. She is admitted to practice in New York, Massachusetts, and the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
