Bakari Brock, Legal Counsel
Bakari joined Twitter as Product and Business Counsel in January 2010, and he supports various areas including media, entertainment and developer partnerships, as well as the API platform. Prior to joining Twitter, Bakari worked at Google where he was corporate counsel for YouTube. He began his practice as an associate in the intellectual property group of Kilpatrick Stockton LLP with a focus on copyright litigation.
Bakari received a degree in banking and finance cum laude and with honors from the University of Georgia. After a stint in the music industry as both a performer and artist manager, he left what is known to UGA students as the "Harvard of the South" for Harvard Law School.
