Arielle Krause is a manager who specializes in partnerships as part of the Mergers and Acquisitions group in the National Tax Services office of PricewaterhouseCoopers. She advises clients on the treatment of partnership transactions including the formation and termination of partnerships, acquisitions of partnership interests, and the redemption of partner's interests. In addition, Arielle has significant experience with tax issues related to distributions, allocation of partnership income based on the partnership agreement, basis adjustments to partnership assets, issuance of equity for compensatory and noncompensatory purposes, and transactions between partners and the partnership. Prior to working for PricewaterhouseCoopers, Arielle worked in the Tax Planning group of Bingham McCutchen and McKee Nelson. Arielle has been published in the Journal of Taxation.
Arielle received a B.A., with honors in History, from Brown University and a J.D. from the University of Michigan. Arielle is a member of the Tax Section of the District of Columbia Bar Association and a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
