Ariana J. Tadler has been a partner at Milberg LLP since January 2001 and is an elected member of the Firm's Executive Committee. She has extensive experience litigating complex securities class actions, including high profile, fast-paced cases. She is widely recognized as one of the nation's leading authorities on electronic discovery.
Ms. Tadler's accomplishments include litigation of three cases in the Eastern District of Virginia (a/k/a the "Rocket Docket") in less than four years, including In re MicroStrategy Securities Litigation, in which plaintiffs' counsel negotiated settlements valued at more than $150 million. Ms. Tadler is one of the court appointed plaintiffs' liaison counsel in the Initial Public Offering Securities Litigation, in which the court approved a $586 million cash settlement in October 2009 (appeal pending). Among the thousands of defendants in this coordinated action are 55 prominent investment banks and more than 300 corporate issuers. Ms. Tadler has also been retained in complex litigation as Special Discovery Counsel.
Ms. Tadler serves on The Sedona Conference's® Business Advisory Board and is the Chair of the Steering Committee for Working Group I on Electronic Document Retention and Production, the leading "think tank" on e discovery. In addition, she is on the Advisory Board of Georgetown University Law Center's Advanced E-Discovery Institute.
Ms. Tadler maintains an "AV" rating for her legal ability, the highest rating available in Martindale-Hubbell's peer review rating system. Recognized in the past by Lawdragon, Ms. Tadler was recently selected as one of the top 500 lawyers in America by Lawdragon and named to the 2010 and 2011 New York Super Lawyer List. Ms. Tadler is a recipient of the Women's Venture Fund's 2011 Highest Leaf Award, an honor given annually to women who are leaders in their businesses and industries.

Ms. Tadler chairs Milberg's E-Discovery Committee, co-chairs the Firm's Client Development Committee and is a member of the Hiring, Diversity, Technology, and Women's Committees. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, the New York State Bar Association, the New York County Lawyers Association, the Federal Bar Council, the New York Women's Bar Association, National Association of Women Judges (Resource Board), and The New York Inn of Court (Vice President of Membership).
Ms. Tadler is also involved in various charity and community organizations. She currently serves on the Executive Committee of MFY Legal Services, Inc., a not-for-profit organization that seeks to provide disadvantaged New Yorkers equal access to the judicial system through community-based representation.
