Anshu Prasad is a lead partner in A.T. Kearney’s Analytics service practice. With more than 16 years of consulting experience, Anshu has worked with global clients across a range of industries, including consumer products, process industries, chemicals, and retail.
Anshu currently leads a global team focused on applying advanced analytics to improve results from supply chain, marketing, operations and logistics functions. A few representative client engagements include:
- Design and deployment of optimization based decision modeling solutions linking planning, R&D and procurement for global FMCG client across multiple strategic spend areas
- Big Data analytics initiative to understand risk profile across global spend portfolio for leading financial services client
- Global strategy development and advanced analytics deployment for leading manufacturer to optimize global transportation and logistics sourcing and category management
- Advanced sourcing and analytics transformation for multinational process industry client, generating over 18% in realized savings
Anshu has spoken at several conferences, authored articles and presented as a guest lecturer at prestigious universities on how organizations can better use analytics as a competitive differentiator. Recent presentation and publication topics include “Embedding Advanced Analytics Techniques into Supply Chain Improvement Programs”, “Making Supplier Collaboration Collaborative”, Scenario Planning to Optimize Speed to Value” and “Big Data: Understanding this New Normal”.
Prior to joining A.T. Kearney, Anshu helped start an analytics consulting firm and held leadership positions at a technology and services consulting provider. He has a degree from Cornell University and an M.B.A. from Oxford University.
Anshu is based in A.T. Kearney’s New York office and serves on the firm’s Diversity and Inclusion council and the Hunter College Foundation board.
