Anne Jordan has 25+ years experience advising large and medium sized corporations, both as a senior executive with responsibility for the corporations' legal affairs and as outside counsel. She currently heads Jordan Associates, a firm that provides legal services to high tech and consumer products companies, as well as consulting to corporations looking to focus their legal services more strategically in rapidly changing business environments. She also provides mediation and arbitration services for a variety of commercial and intellectual property disputes as a member the American Arbitration Association's Chicago panel and the International Center for Conflict Prevention and Resolution's (CPR) Distinguished Panel of Neutrals.
From 1999 until mid-2004, Ms. Jordan served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of PeopleSoft, Inc., the world's second largest provider of enterprise application software with annual revenues of approximately $ 2.8 billion. She provided strategic advice relating to potential mergers and acquisitions, litigation and risk management, and intellectual property strategy, protection and enforcement.
Prior to joining PeopleSoft, Ms. Jordan was Vice President and General Counsel for Sega of America, Inc. Before that she was a partner in the Palo Alto firm, Carr, & Ferrell. In private practice she represented clients, including Apple Computer, Sun Microsystems and A.T. Kearney Consulting, on a variety of licensing, litigation and intellectual property matters.
She has also held positions as Vice President and General Counsel for Worlds of Wonder, Inc., a manufacturer of electronic toys and games, and Assistant General Counsel for Dole Foods, Inc., a $2 billion food processing and real estate development corporation, and as Corporate Counsel with Beatrice Companies, Inc. and games, and Assistant General Counsel for Dole Foods, Inc., a $2 billion food processing and real estate development corporation, and as Corporate Counsel with Beatrice Companies, Inc.
