Andrea L. Colby is an Associate Patent Counsel at Johnson & Johnson, the worldwide health care company based in New Brunswick, New Jersey. She is responsible for counseling several of Johnson & Johnson's consumer sector businesses on a broad range of patent and intellectual property issues, including intellectual property strategy, licensing and patent procurement and serves on the management committee of the Intellectual Property Department. Prior to joining Johnson & Johnson, she gained experience in patent, trade secret and trademark litigation as well as patent prosecution at the IP law firm of Morgan & Finnegan and in the patent department of Union Carbide Corporation. She currently serves on the Boards of Trustees of Albany Law School and Young Audiences-New Jersey & Eastern Pennsylvania.
