Ana de Alba is an associate at the law firm of Lang, Richert & Patch where she specializes in employment litigation. Ms. de Alba has served as the firm's Pro Bono coordinator since 2009 and in that capacity, has worked closely with legal services organizations in the Central Valley to promote the provision of Pro Bono services to the underserved. Recently, Ms. de Alba helped to establish a first of its kind monthly Workers' Rights Clinic in Fresno as a collaborative effort between Central California Legal Services, Inc., Legal Aid Society-Employment Law Center, and the Consulate of Mexico in Fresno.
Ms. de Alba currently serves on the State Bar Standing Committee for the Delivery of Legal Services, State Bar Pro Bono Coordination Committee, Fresno County Bar Association-Pro Bono Services Section, and on the board of Central California Legal Services, Inc. Ms. de Alba is a recipient of a 2011 Opening Doors to Justice award by OneJustice and presented by Chief Justice Tani Cantil-Sakauye for work done to promote and advance Pro Bono in the Central Valley. In 2012, she also received a Legal Services Corporation Certificate of Appreciation for extraordinary commitment to providing equal access to justice through private attorney involvement with Central California Legal Services and was named the 2012 Pro Bono Attorney of the Year by the Fresno County Bar Association. Ms. de Alba is a 2007 graduate of UC Berkeley School of Law, Boalt Hall.
