 Margaret Shaw has maintained an active ADR practice for almost 30 years. She joined JAMS when ADR Associates, a firm she co-founded, merged with JAMS in 2004. A fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, she has mediated well over a thousand individual plaintiff and class and collective employment actions. She also has extensive experience mediating business/commercial and contract cases, and intellectual property, professional liability and securities disputes.
 
An adjunct professor at New York University School of Law from 1980 through 2007, Ms Shaw taught courses in alternative dispute resolution and negotiation. She has also spoken and written extensively on subjects related to ADR in many venues throughout her career. She has been recognized as both a New York Super Lawyer and a New York Best Lawyer every year since 2006, and was included this year in the "International Who's Who of Business Lawyers."
